About RiaRosa

RiaRosa is a five-piece Neo-Soul/Dream Pop band formed in Baton Rouge in 2017. Band members J.T. O'Neal (drums), Andrew Woolsey (keys), and Earl Wheeler (bass) were originally members of a band called Orange Juice. When Maria Gough (vocals, guitar) and Jacob Stanley (guitar) were added to the band, a new sound was created forming RiaRosa. Named after vocalist, Maria Rosa Gough, RiaRosa broke out onto the scene and hit the ground running. Known for effervescent live performances, the band has shared bills with Sweet Crude, Son Little, and more within the first year. Influences include Neo-Soul, R&B, Synth Pop, Indie, and Funk.
